Going against the Narrative

Let’s talk about the healing journey for a second.

Social media has made therapy language super accessible which is great, but it’s also led to a lot of mislabeling. Not everything is trauma. Not everyone is a narcissist. And setting boundaries isn’t the same thing as cutting everyone off who challenges you.

Healing isn’t just about watching videos or reposting quotes it’s about doing the hard, consistent work to grow. I had to check myself on this too. Everything that feels uncomfortable isn’t automatically toxic Chantelle sometimes it’s just an invitation to grow, shift your mindset, and build better habits.

We can’t truly heal if we’re only consuming content. At some point, we need to sit with a real professional who can guide us not just so we can survive, but so we can thrive.

If you’re ready to take your healing seriously, go beyond TikTok and Instagram and find a real therapist who can help you on your journey.
