Trauma-Informed Speaker | Youth & Family Advocate | Parenting & Healing Facilitator

Helping individuals, families, and communities break unhealthy cycles, heal from trauma, and build stronger futures.

Chantelle Mitchell is a trauma-informed speaker, youth advocate, and founder of Telle Talks, LLC and I Got U Friend (I.G.U.F.), a mentoring organization dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening families.

As a woman who once struggled with self-worth, sought validation in unhealthy places, and learned firsthand how unresolved trauma can impact decision-making, relationships, and personal growth, Chantelle understands the importance of healing from the inside out.

Drawing from both her personal journey and professional experience in violence intervention, mentoring, and family advocacy, she delivers powerful, faith-centered messages that inspire healing, accountability, resilience, and transformation.

Through authentic storytelling, practical strategies, and trauma-informed approaches, Chantelle equips youth, parents, women, and communities with the tools to overcome adversity, build healthy relationships, strengthen family connections, and create lasting change.

Her mission is simple: to help others become the person they once needed while empowering them to recognize their worth, embrace their healing journey, and live with purpose.

My Mission:

“To inspire transformation and lasting change in the lives of individuals and families by equipping them with faith-based, trauma-informed tools for healing and empowerment.”

“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” ‭‭

-Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬ NKJV

My Thoughts

I believe in the power of healing.

Healing is the process of becoming whole, restoring what has been broken, and creating a healthier version of ourselves. Nearly everyone experiences trauma in some form—whether through loss, rejection, abuse, neglect, disappointment, or life-changing events that shape the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us.

When trauma goes unaddressed, it can keep us stuck in patterns of pain, survival, and brokenness, quietly influencing our decisions, relationships, and overall well-being.

This is why healing is so important. Healing gives us the opportunity to reclaim our strength, restore our balance, and take ownership of our lives. It allows us to move beyond simply surviving and begin truly thriving.

When I gave myself permission to heal, everything changed. Through faith, self-reflection, therapy, and intentional growth, I became the woman I needed as a little girl—someone who understood her worth, embraced her voice, and no longer sought validation from others to define her value.

Today, I use both my personal journey and professional experience to encourage others to begin their own healing journey. My goal is to help individuals, families, and communities recognize that healing is possible, growth is attainable, and becoming the best version of yourself is within reach.

Because healing isn't just about recovering from what happened to you—it's about becoming who you were always meant to be.
