To the Single Man/Woman in his/Her Waiting Season:

Waiting is not a season of lack—it’s a season of becoming. Instead of viewing this time as a delay, see it as preparation for what God is aligning for you.

There are two key things to focus on during this season:

1. Build a submissive relationship with God. Before God entrusts you with a relationship ordained by Him, He desires for you to truly know Him and put Him first. When you learn to submit to Him wholeheartedly, you show Him that no one—not even your future husband—will come before Him.

2. Become the very thing you desire in a wife/husband. If you want a wife/husband who will protect, promote, provide, please, and pray, then cultivate those qualities within yourself. Be the protector of your peace, the promoter of your purpose, the provider of your own needs, the pleaser of your spirit, and the prayer warrior of your life.

Your waiting season should not be painful—it should be beautiful. This is your time to grow, to heal, and to become the man/woman God has called you to be.

"Embrace this season with joy and expectation, knowing that God is preparing you just as much as He is preparing the one, He has for you."
